Shirley Tom, C.DIR, CEA, FCPA, FCGA, LPA |  Shirley is the Managing Principal of Shirley Tom Professional Corporation, an accounting firm established since 2005. Shirley has been engaged in public accounting and finance since the mid-1970s, including a long–term stint at a Bay Street law firm in the estates and trust practice area.  Shirley is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA) and a Licensed Public Accountant (LPA) able to serve all levels of accounting engagements for corporate clients who require these services.

 

She received her Certified General Accountant designation in 1989 and, in addition to her 2004 Ontario Distinguished Service Award, the prestigious FCGA award from CGA Canada in 2011. Shirley completed the rigorous program for her Chartered Director (C.DIR) designation in 2012 and obtained her FCPA in 2014.  Shirley is the current President of Estate Planners Council of Halton (EPCOH) and member of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPAO)‘s Small and Medium Size Practices Advisory Committee (SMPAC).  Additionally, Shirley is a qualified Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) for estate related matters.  She is also a director and treasurer for the Brampton Golf Club.
